Safety and Security Concerns

 

We have taken a number of steps to ensure your child's safety while they are at nursery.     

  • The main entrances are kept locked at all times.
  • All outdoor areas are securely fenced and gates fitted with secure fasteners.
  • We will not let any child leave the nursery with anyone other than his/her usual parent/carer, unless we have been informed in advance.
  • We ask that you do not allow access to any other person when entering or leaving the nursery, even if you believe it to be another parent. This may appear rude but we feel it is a necessary step to protect your child.
  • To comply with fire evacuation plans, all children must be signed in and out of the Nursery.
  • Please make sure that your child's details and emergency contacts are kept up to date.
  • Our Health & Safety policy aims to identify potential problems and find workable solutions. If you notice anything that could be of possible danger to children or adults at the nursery, please do tell us.
